The “I.C.” of I.C.NAGOYA stands for “International Communication”. Since 1983, students from more than 30 countries have come to our school to achieve their goals. I.C.NAGOYA believes a true Japanese language education should teach the thoughts and values hidden behind words through the relationship with others. We will continue to support students’ academic progress and provide high-quality Japanese lessons based on the concept: “We are the school to educate people who can think and behave with a global outlook”.

Program Details

Long-Term Course

This is a comprehensive course for students who want to learn Japanese as a means of communication while improving their reading, listening, writing and speaking skills.

People who plan to come and get a Student Visa, please look at this information. You can attend our Japanese Language Comprehensive Course for up to 2 years depending on the enrollment period.

Application Eligibility

1) Completion of a 12-year education or equivalent approved by I.C.NAGOYA.

2) A clear and proper purpose of studying Japanese.

3) A financial statement showing sufficient funds to cover all of the applicant’s expenses (including tuition fee) for the duration of his/her study at I.C.NAGOYA.

About Scholarship

There are two types of scholarships.

JASSO Scholarship

The scholarship system operated by JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization). Every year, school recommend the scholarship recipients to JASSO from the students enrolled for over 6months.

I.C.NAGOYA Scholarship

I.C.NAGOYA select the scholarship recipients from all the I.C.NAGOYA students every 3months. We will give scholarship to max of 5 students every 3 months.

About Stay and Visit Guide

Our dormitory is located in a very convenient location which is only 10 minutes walking from the school and Nagoya station so it is easy to travel by Shinkansen, JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu, Aonami line and subway.

Each room has unit bath, kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioner, bunk-beds, table and chair, bookshelf, table lights, vacuum cleaner, electric kettle and storage box. There is a coin laundry room with washing machines and dryers at the first floor of the building.

For international students
Dormitory entrance Fee	20,000 JPY
Deposit	64,000~100,000 JPY
Monthly rent	32,000～50,000JPY / Month
Common Service Fee	10,000 JPY / 6 months
Other	13,000 JPY

Students can request the school to order the futon set(comforter, mattress futon, mattress, blanket, and pillow).

The contract and payment for dormitory is 6-month at once.
